Well we thought that its about time The Pinewood keep up with modern technology and add a little blog section to our website... So here it is!

We will keep you updated on all upcoming events and activites taking place at The Pinewood Restaurant and any changes we have made! So keep an eye out!

We will also have a weekly blog from our owners husband and wife Mark & Fiona Smith ... so we look forward to that!

Restaurant Dining

As trends change, our guests have gave us the thumbs up to " Restaurant Dining", no bar, no loud music, no time limit on your table just being able to enjoy fresh local seasonal produce and quality wine in a relaxed informal ambience.

The Pinewood is in the middle of a transition, fully air conditioned throughout so gone are the days when you could hardly breath!! The lighting is all changed, gone are the dark orange shades of the past and now contempary frosted shades with controlled lighting to create the perfect ambience.

Les has continued to use local suppliers and produce to inspire his team to consistently create tempting dishes. The menus will change again in May so tell us what you would like to see or one of your old favourites coming back!

The addition of Corney and Barrow from Ayr has provided quality wines at exceptional prices. They are in the process of producing The Pinewood's own wine with a fantastic label, which would be ideal with one of our gift vouchers.

Spring is in the Air!

Hi,

The weather is getting better, the nights are getting lighter and spring is almost here!!

The new menu is going down really well with a fantastic couple of weeks and with Valentines Night booked out 4 days before we can only be full.

The staff have all worked extremley hard and with all the booths been French polished and the carpet cleaned, The Pinewood has certainly had a spring clean.

Mother's day is not far away so we are definatley advising to book early to avoid dissapointment with 2 courses for £12 and 3 courses for £15 and of course our champagne celebration for £29.95 to treat the special lady in our life!
